Credit Card Cloned, Fake Checks: Oswego Blotter
Incidents occurred between Feb. 26 and March 1.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Feb. 26
Robert M. Jones, 23, of the 400 block of Watson in Aurora, was charged with retail theft. The incident occurred at 2500 Rt. 34.
Feb. 27
Tramell M. Weathersby, 24, of the 0-100 block of Afton in Montgomery, was charged with possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. The incident occurred at 95 Fifth St.
Cesar Silva Venegas, 20, of the 700 block of Clearwood Ave. in Aurora, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred at Rt. 34 and Boulder Hill Pass.
Allan D. Hillyer, 57, of the 200 block of Long Meadow Ct., was charged with domestic battery.
Police are investigating a hit and run at Aldi at 540 Fifth St.
A resident reported her credit card was “cloned” and used at a Chicago business.
Kyle A. Corum, 20, of the 400 block of Reagan Drive, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. The incident occurred at Corum’s home.
Feb. 28
David Basurto, Jr., 22, of the 200 block of Spring Trail, was charged with two counts of domestic battery and obstructing an officer. The incident occurred as Basurto’s home.
March 1
Someone passed two fraudulent checks worth $200 at Men’s Warehouse.
Someone took $300 from the countertop of a business in the 6500 block of Rt. 34.
March 2
A resident reported that their two unlocked vehicles were entered overnight and items were taken. The incident occurred in the 0-100 block of Sedgewick.
An unlocked vehicle was entered overnight and $180 was taken. The incident occurred in the 0-100 block of Brockway.
