Driver Wanted For Fleeing Scene Of Oswego Hit-And-Run: Kendall Sheriff

The crash happened around 4:40 p.m. Jan. 24 near the intersection of Wolf Road and Douglas Road in unincorporated Oswego.

OSWEGO, IL — Deputies at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office are looking to track down the driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash in January, officials said Tuesday.

The crash happened around 4:40 p.m. Jan. 24 near the intersection of Douglas Road and Wolf Road. The car, which deputies believe to be a Hyundai Elantra, appeared to be driving north on Douglas Road before turning right onto Wolf Road without yielding the right of way to approaching traffic, officials said.

While the incident happened nearly a month ago, officials said the investigation is ongoing and they continue to search for the car that fled.

To aid in the investigation, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information about the offending car to email tbrautigam@kendallcountyil.gov with details.
