Quotable I: βWhen you look at the two types of quarterbacks we have, the freshman is more the true passer (Frank), and Brett (Wainwright) is more your scatback,β Oswego coach Brian Cooney said. βHe can do some things in flush and roll out of the pocket. But, that to us, was huge, that he can drive an offense 99 yards all the way down right before half with some time constraints.β

Quotable II: βWe knew at the goal line theyβre always a very strong team,β Oswego quarterback Brett Wainwright said. βThey like to put numbers in the box. So, we thought weβd put βKwiβ out there and our great lineβno one touched me, really. We threw it to βKwiβ and he made a big play to get that drive going.β
Quotable III: βOffensively, all week we talked about emphasizing the point of attack and emphasizing getting positive plays on first and second down,β Minooka coach Paul Forsythe said. βAnd thatβs pretty much exactly what we didnβt do. We didnβt get movement. They did a nice job of forcing us into third-and-long, and right now weβre not very good at third-and-long.β
