Harlan R. Wolfe, 82, was Active with Boy Scouts for Over 70 Years
A memorial service for Harlan Wolfe will be he held on Saturday, March 16 at the Oswego Presbyterian Church.

Harlan R. Wolfe, 82 years, of Oswego, Ill. died suddenly on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Ill.
He was born October 22, 1930 in Aurora, Ill. the son of the late Ralph L. and Metes M. Wolfe.
Harlan attended the Oswego Presbyterian Church in Oswego. After retirement as a traveling salesman he continued to work, because of his desire to serve people, at various locations Home Depot and Gordon Food Service as the “week-end demo lady”.

Harlan was very active, for over 70 years, within the Boy Scouts of America serving on many councils and committees including the Order of the Arrow.He was the recipient of the Silver Beaver Award, the highest recognition given to an adult volunteer leader by the Boy Scouts of America.
Harlan is survived by two daughters Catherine Wolfe and Margaret (Bruce) Mayhughboth of Montgomery, IL, a grandson Jason (Bethany) Wolfe of Yorkville, IL, two great grandchildren Travis and Lyla Wolfe and a brother Norbert Wolfe of Yorkville, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife Liela nee Fowler Wolfe.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Oswego Presbyterian Church in Oswego, IL. After the service there will be a time of fellowship and coffee.
Cremation was accorded the wish of the family. Memorials may be directed to either the Boy Scouts of America or the American Diabetes Association in Harlan’s memory. Arrangements were entrusted to the Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory of Oswego.For additional information, 630/554-8484.
