
OSWEGO, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can find out with a health inspection report.
The Kendall County Health Department visited Mason Wok Feb. 21 for a routine inspection. It received a sanitation score of 93/100.
Among some of the violations were:

- Container of ginger stored on floor in sushi bar.
- Broken/cracked glass on sushi cooler slide door.
- Ketchup and sauces stored in #10 tin cans after they’ve been opened. They should be stored in commercial grade food containers.
- Employee’s cigarettes stored on shelf with spices and single-use gloves.
The business was praised for having excellent labeling and temperatures.
Mason Wok is located at 2735 Route 34 in Oswego.
