Make Oswego Dog Park a Reality
Your vote in this contest could make your pooch a happy pet.
If you’ve been looking for a place to take your dog to play, that chance might be coming, but you’ll have to show you want it by voting for it.
According to the Oswegoland Park District website, requests for a dog park have been ongoing and inspired the Oswegoland Parks and Recreation Department to spearhead a dog park as its next fundraising project.
PetSafe is currently holding a Bark for your Park contest that will give $100,000 toward the creation of a dog park. You can vote for it here and here. Voting ends June 10. Finalists will be announced June 17.

As of now, the plan is to build the park on an unused plot of land at Jaycee Park along Douglas Road.
