The car was occupied by a driver and passenger. The boy described the driver as a male Hispanic, 44 to 46 years old, 6-feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. The driver was clean shaven with medium length, black, curly hair reaching his shoulders, a dark complexion and no facial hair. Police said the boy did not get a good look at the passenger.

The driver exited the car and tried to lure the boy into the vehicle by talking to him in Spanish, saying that his mother had told him to pick him up, a police news release said.
