Nearly $750 In Retail Stolen From Walmart: Oswego Police Reports

Saturday, June 9
Retail theft
Oswego Police say Juan D. Gutierrez, 34, of 1221 Towne Ave, Batavia, was arrested at 7:22 p.m., June 9 at 2300 Route 34 near Prairie Street on a report of more than $210 stolen. He was taken to the Kendall Co. Sheriff's Office and was charged with Retail Theft and In-State Warrant. His court date is set for July 16, 2018.

DUI
Misael Perez, 19, of 752 Forth Street, Aurora, was arrested on an adult misdemeanor and charged with DUI-Drugs at 2:30 a.m., June 9

Sunday, June 10
Retail theft
Oswego Police are investigating after nearly $750 was stolen from Walmart on 2300 Route 34 near Fifth and Prairie Streets at 8:32 p.m., June 10. Three people reported the incident, as the suspect was described as a 35-year-old black man, 5'10, 200 pounds, bald, wearing jeans and a black sweatshirt. His eye color is unknown at this time.
Monday, June 11
Felony charge - Look-a-Like Controlled Substance
Kendall Co. Sheriff's officials report Andrea L. Birmann, 24, of 102 Harbor Drive, Oswego, was arrested and charged with a Look-a-Like Controlled Substance, a felony charge, at 8:47 p.m., June 11.
Controlled Substance charges
Kendall Co. Sheriff's officials report Candice L. Simmon, 31, of 578 Second Avenue, Aurora, was arrested and charged with Look-a-Like Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, both felony offenses, in addition to Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a Pregnant Woman, at 9:31 p.m., June 11.
