Next Oswego Police Holiday Enforcement Campaign Starts Friday
Oswego police will "show zero tolerance" for impaired driving during the two-week-long campaign.
OSWEGO, IL — The holiday season is in full swing, which means Oswego police are busy with several enforcement campaigns.
With Christmas and the New Year two weeks out, police will roll out another campaign aimed at reminding drivers of the dangers of impaired driving. From Dec. 16 to Jan. 2, the Oswego Police Department will step up enforcement with a high visibility "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" and "Drive High, Get a DUI" campaign.
Officers will "show zero tolerance" for alcohol- and drug-impaired driving in an effort to make sure people make it to and from celebrations safely, officials said.
