Open Tryouts for Girls Basketball Teams Sept. 18 in Oswego
A meet and greet will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11.
OSWEGO, IL — An open tryout for for multiple girls basketball teams will be held Sept. 18.
The teams are being organized by the Oswego Future program, which was established to promote girls athletics throughout the Oswegoland area.
If you make a team, a $450 participation fee will be required and includes the following: a full season of participation, which includes two practices a week, and games, custom uniforms, shooting shirt, bag and more.

A meet and greet will be held from noon to 1:45 p.m. for students in third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade. Seventh and eighth graders can attend between 2 and 4 p.m. Both sessions will be held at the Oswego High School auxiliary gym on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Teams will be formed on Sept. 18 after an open tryout. As many teams will be formed as possible. Tryouts begin at noon for third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders and at 2 p.m. for seventh and eighth graders. Tryouts should last for around two hours.

Games will be played Nov. 13, Nov. 20, Nov. 27, Dec. 11, Dec. 18, Jan. 8, Jan. 15, Jan. 22, Jan. 29 and Feb. 12.
