Oswego Cheerleaders Finish Strong at State Competition

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego East High School (OEHS) cheerleading team spent last weekend competing at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association (ICCA) state championships in Springfield, Ill.

The junior varsity team won second place, varsity won third place, and two individual stunt groups from the varsity team finished in the top 15.

Hannah Andrews of the varsity squad was one of 14 finalists for an ICCA Scholarship and won the top prize. This is awarded to senior cheerleaders based upon their athletic skills within our sport, academics, and being well rounded individuals.
