Upcoming Oswego District 308 Public Forum Canceled

District officials announced Thursday they canceled the March 7 forum but are looking to reschedule a date.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego Community Unit School District 308's upcoming public forum, where locals were invited to share ideas and concerns with the Board of Education, has been canceled, officials announced Thursday.

Originally set to take place on the evening of March 7, district staff said a new date will soon be scheduled.

"The Board is not able to have full representation on the night of March 7, and the Board feels it is important to have all members present for public forums," Theresa Komitas, director of communications and public relations, wrote in an email.
