Oswego Firefighters Battle Montgomery Town Home Blaze

Oswego firefighters quickly put extinguished a fire in a townhome unit in Montgomery on Tuesday afternoon.
The Oswego Fire Protection District answered a call for a structural fire in the 0-60 block of Fall Creek Circle in Montgomery.

When they arrived, flames had fully engulfed the end unit of a five-unit townhome, the fire protection district news release said.
Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior attack along with a primary search to determine of occupants were in the building.

After confirming that no one was home, firefighters moved outside and mounted a defensive attack.
The blaze was struck within 29 minutes. Oswego firefighters were assisted by the Montgomery Fire Department.
Other units in the town house appear to have been spared from the fire.
Fire officials said there were no reported injuries.
