Oswego Named One of the Best Small Cities in America
WalletHub looked at housing costs, school-system quality, number of restaurants per capita and much more.
OSWEGO, IL — Despite a recent report from Value Penguin saying that Oswego is one of the worst cities to own a home, WalletHub has ranked Oswego as one of the best small cities in America.
WalletHub “compared 1,268 cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 based on 30 key indicators of livability.” Those indicators include housing costs, school-system quality and number of restaurants per capita.
Five categories worth 20 points each were used to calculate the score. The highest ranking town received a 69.93. Oswego came in at 63.97. Not bad!
