Oswego Police To Conduct Training At Oswego East High

If passersby notice multiple squad cars and police officers at the high school Thursday, it's because training exercises are in the works.

OSWEGO, IL — If passersby notice multiple squad cars and police officers at the high school Thursday, there's no cause for concern, according to the police department.

The heightened police presence is because OPD will be conducting training exercises on high school grounds, off Harvey and Wolf roads, Thursday. A message trailer will be posted at the school to alert drivers as well, officials said Thursday morning.

Locals with questions or concerns should feel free to call the department at 630-551-7300, officials said.
