Oswego Police, Yorkville Business Team Up to Benefit Special Olympics

Event includes a 50/50, door prizes and a chance to win a special-edition Harley-Davidson.

The Oswego Police Department will team with Yorkville Bowl, 1211 N. Bridge St. in Yorkville, to host a fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois on Sunday, Oct. 5.

The cost is $20 per person, which includes two games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and soda for each lane. All profits will go to Special Olympics Illinois.

Registration starts at noon and bowling begins at 1 p.m.

Police will also be selling Torch Run merchandise and tickets for a chance to win the 2014 Law Enforcement Torch Run Special Olympics-edition Harley-Davidson.

The event will also include a cash bar, regular menu items, a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and a highest score prize.
