Oswego Schools to Remain Closed Friday; Yorkville Schools to Reopen
For the third day in a row, kids will be home due to extreme weather.

For the third straight day, extreme weather will keep students in Oswego School District 308 home.
“Due to extreme weather conditions, Community Unit School District 308 activities, meetings and events are cancelled and schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 9,” the district said in an email Thursday night.
Meanwhile, Yorkville Community Unit School District announced via its website that it plans to reopen schools on Friday.
