Oswego Trader Joe's Will Likely Open This Year: Village
The sign for the beloved grocery store, the first to open in Kendall County, went up earlier this month.

OSWEGO, IL — Although the Oswego Trader Joe's has yet to share a date for its grand opening, Economic Development Director Kevin Leighty said the developer, Benderson Development, is on track to complete the store by the end of the year.
The grocer is coming to the intersection of Route 34 and Kendall Point Drive, next to Delta Sonic Car Wash. It marks the first Trader Joe's in Kendall County.
The sign ushering shoppers to the beloved grocery store went up earlier this month.

"We're likely looking at a 2026 opening," he told Patch.
