• Former Oswego Library director honored for work on preserving local history (shawlocal.com) — Oswego residents are celebrating former Public Library District Director Sarah Skilton, who just received the Oswegoland Heritage Association's top award for preserving local history. Her 31-year tenure saw major library expansion, deep partnerships with the Little White School Museum, and donations of hundreds of historical items documenting Oswego-area people, government, churches, and businesses.
