Missing Oswego Teen Found Safe: Police

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego police said an Oswego teen missing since running away on Sunday has been reunited with her family. Police said Lucy C. Alegria, 15, was reported missing Sunday after she was last seen at around 6 p.m. that day at a movie theater in Oswego.

Police said Alegria was located Wednesday in East Chicago, adding that tracking down the teen was a "collaborative effort between the Oswego Police Department and the East Chicago Police Department." Oswego police thanked the public and authorities in East Chicago for helping locate the 15-year-old safely.

Earlier in the day Wednesday, police said they believed she may be in the area of the City of Chicago.
