OSWEGO, IL — An outbuilding in rural Oswego was "a complete loss" after a fire broke out just after midnight Sunday, according to officials at the Oswego Fire Protection District.

Firefighters were dispatched at about 12:52 a.m. for a possible structure fire in the 0-99 block of East Timberlake Trail. While en route, crews were advised police were on the scene of a fully involved fire at a 100-foot-by-50-foot outbuilding.

Crews brought the fire under control in about 45 minutes after establishing a water tender due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area, officials said.
