Traffic Pattern Near Oswego HS to Temporarily Change March 21

The village of Oswego is advising residents to be aware of a revised traffic pattern on Route 71 near the east entrance to Oswego High School.

While the students are on Spring Break, the median through the high school/grade school intersection will be constructed, according to the village. The east entrance to the high school will be closed next week, beginning March 21, and the temporary entrance around 300 feet east of the intersection will be utilized, the village said.

The dedicated eastbound turn lane to the grade school will be modified. The eastbound lane will be a combination thru/left turn lane. The grade school entrance will remain open.

After a week of work, the traffic pattern will revert back to the previous pattern.
