Wine On The Fox Will Return To Oswego For 16th Year
Proceeds will help cover the cost of Oswego's annual event programming, including Fourth of July fireworks and summer events at Venue 1012.

OSWEGO, IL — Wine on the Fox is returning to Oswego for two days of outdoor tastings this spring, and tickets are on sale starting Monday.
The event, returning to downtown Oswego for the 16th year, will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 7 and from noon to 6 p.m. May 8 at Hudson Crossing Park, 65 N. Harrison St. Like the name of the event suggests, the park is located on the east bank of the Fox River in Oswego.
Guests will be able to choose from more than 100 Illinois wines to sample. August Hill Winery, Galena Cellars and Oswego’s Fox Valley Winery are a few of the wineries that will be at the event, which will take place rain or shine. For craft beer enthusiasts, two seasonal pours from Oswego Brewing Company will also be available for tasting.

No event is complete without bites to eat, and at Wine on the Fox, local food vendors will offer sweet and savory options to pair with the event's beverages — both alcohol and non-alcoholic.
"This year’s Wine on the Fox should be spectacular," Mayor Troy Parlier said in a statement. "We expect to be back to normal this year and can’t wait to see the crowds enjoy this wonderful event in a beautiful setting. We’ll have a wide variety of wines, excellent food, great entertainment and fun for all!"

Musicians from nine bands, such as Junkyard Groove and Wild Daisy and the Bree Gordon Band, will be performing live music during the two-day event, and children's activities — including face painting and a playground — will be offered to keep the kids entertained.
Several Oswego merchants, as well as The Mother's Day Boutique, will also host a pop-up shopping event during the wine tasting.
Proceeds from the event will help cover the cost of Oswego's annual event programming. Events including Fourth of July fireworks and summer events at Venue 1012 are made possible by businesses and corporations that sponsor Wine on the Fox, village officials said in a Monday news release.
Tickets, which can be purchased through the Village of Oswego's website, cost between $20-$55, depending on the package. The most affordable package includes eight wine tickets as well as a commemorative glass and wristband.
Additional wine tickets can be purchased for $1 each at the event. Designated drivers will receive complimentary bottled water and soda, according to village officials.
Advanced tickets are available until 11:59 p.m. May 6, and prices will increase on the day of the event.
