4 Drunken Drivers Nabbed In Palatine Saturday: Police

PALATINE, IL — We've included a roundup of arrests made by the Palatine Police Department in recent days.

March 15

(Removed) was cited with retail theft at Walmart, 1555 N. Rand Road. A loss prevention employee observed a customer conceal $58.91 worth of merchandise in her purse and then pass the last point of sale without payment.

March 17

• William Rivera-Roman, 43, of the the 2200 block of S. Central Avenue in Cicero, was arrested at 12:22 a.m. on March 17 in the 12 block of West Algonquin Road. He was charged with Disobeying a Traffic Control Device, Illegal Transportation of Alcoholic Liquor (Driver), DUI, and BAC over .08.
• Aurea Hernandez, 35, of the 600 block of Richard Brown Boulevard in Volo, was arrested and charged with DUI at 1:08 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Algonquin Road.
• Tomasz Lapiak, 43, of the 200 block of Saint Thomas Street in West Chicago, was arrested and charged with DUI at 2:55 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Algonquin Road.
• Carly Evans, 34, of the 200 block of Wapoos Court in Schaumburg, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. on March 17 in the 1400 block of West Algonquin Road. She has been charged with illegal parking on a roadway, illegal transportation of a alcohol liquor (driver), DUI and BAC over .08. Illegal Transportation of Alcoholic Liquor (Driver), DUI, and BAC over .08.
