50th Reunion of "SMOW 1972" at Emmett's Brewing Co.

Emmett's Brewing Company was the site of a 50th reunion that brought many 1972 grade school classmates together for a memorable night on November 5th in Palatine.

St. Mary Of the Woods grade school, also known as SMOW, is in the Chicago neighborhood of Edgebrook on the far northwest side of the city, and some of those former classmates are now in Palatine and the surrounding area.

The 17 classmates pictured - 10 men and 7 women - were able to look back at themselves in the 1960s and 70s, and then update everyone as to the past 50 years of their lives. Topics included their families, their careers, and their classmates who have passed before them.

Now that Thanksgiving is over and November is over, they are looking ahead to Christmas 2022 and the New Year 2023, and further ahead to 2027 for their 55th reunion!
