American Legion Junior Auxiliary holds Spaghetti Dinner
The American Legion Post 690 Junior Auxiliary is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner which is open to the public on Saturday, February 15th.
The American Legion Post 690 Junior Auxiliary is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner which is open to the public on Saturday, February 15th from 6:30 PM until 10:00 PM at the American Legion Hall 122 West Palatine Road in Palatine to raise funds for Legion Family Charities.
“We’d like to invite everyone to join us for a great meal and fun evening,” said Erica Bartnicki, Auxiliary President. “Dinner will include spaghetti with red or meat sauce, angel hair pasta with Alfredo, salad, garlic bread and desserts. Music and raffles will also add to the excitement of the evening.”
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door or in advance in the clubroom at the American Legion. Doors open at 6:30 PM and dinner will be served from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A full service bar is available for drinks.

The American Legion and Legion Auxiliary began in 1919 while the Sons of the American Legion was created in 1932 as patriotic veterans organizations devoted to mutual helpfulness. The Junior Auxiliary is comprised of girls that are too young to participate in the Auxiliary. These organizations are committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
