• Palatine Man Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Juvenile, Ordered Detained (patch.com) — Palatine residents are being alerted after a 25-year-old local man was detained on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and child sexual abuse material following a police investigation that began in July. The alleged incident occurred on East Dundee Road in Palatine, and police are urging anyone with similar experiences involving the suspect to contact the Palatine Police Department as the case moves through court.
