Annual Palatine Food Drive Underway

October 5th marked the beginning of the 12th annual Palatine Food Drive. Managed by Lavelle Law Charities, the community-wide effort has become an important tradition for many local families ahead of the holiday season. Scheduled to run through Friday, November 20th, the Palatine Food Drive is an important contributor for the more than 220 families that utilize the Palatine Township Food Pantry each month.

“We’re honored to once again coordinate this significant effort across Palatine to help stock the shelves when other donations are down long after the holidays for the many families in need throughout our community,’ said Food Drive Coordinator Jackie Lindert. “The entire staff at Lavelle Law will be on hand November 20th to gather and deliver the donations to the Palatine Township Food Pantry. We look forward to having this be the most successful year yet.”

Lavelle Law, and the firm’s charitable wing Lavelle Law Charities, have received numerous forms of recognition for their commitment to the food drive and other charitable activities. In prior years the donations from the annual fall effort has pushed the Township Food Pantry storage space to capacity.
