Palatine Township residents can now file an appeal to the assessed valuation of their property with the Cook County Board of Review. Township taxpayers can appeal from September 14 to October 13, 2015. Any reduction granted will appear on the second half of the 2015 tax bill, which is payable in the fall of 2016. A reduction in the assessed value can help reduce property taxes.
