Arlington Heights Deacon to Serve Communion at Pope's Visit

Deacon Don Grossnickle of Our Lady of the Wayside parish in Arlington Heights will be at the papal visit in Philadelphia this week.

An Arlington Heights deacon will be among hundreds of clergy serving communion as more than a million worshipers gather this week during Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia, the Daily Herald reports.

Deacon Don Grossnickle of Our Lady of the Wayside parish in Arlington Heights will serve communion at at the Sept. 27 Papal Mass during the World Meeting of the Families, according to the newspaper.
