Body Found In Cook County Forest Preserve Pond
The nude body of a man was found partially submerged in a pond near South Barrington.
The nude body of a black man believed to be in his early 20s was found partially submerged in a Cook County Forest Preserve pond near South Barrington.
Mike Truppa, a spokesman for the forest preserve, said the body was found by a person who was walking in the forest preserve at about 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 6.
The body was found in Penny Road Pond, near Old Sutton Road and Penny Road. The pond is located in Penny Lake Grove.

Truppa said no identification was found on or near the body. The body was lying half-in and and half-out of the water, Truppa said.
Truppa said no cause of death has been established and the case has been referred to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
