Drive a Ford at Palatine High School to Raise Funds for Students

PHS Booster Club Presents Ford Motor Company Drive 4 UR School Event on May 2 at Palatine High School.

Palatine High School Pirate Boosters and Arlington Heights Ford present Drive 4 UR School, a test drive fundraising event, on Saturday, May 2 from 8am to 2pm at Palatine High School, 1100 N. Rohlwing Road, Palatine.

Representatives from Arlington Heights Ford/Ford Motor Company will be on hand with a variety of new Ford vehicles. For every test drive taken, Ford Motor Company will make a donation to Palatine High School, for a total of up to $6,000. Each household can help the Booster Club earn $20 just for taking a test drive, and $10 for having a quick check up on your battery life and tire tread. Members of the community are invited to test drive a car to help raise up to $6,000 for programs for the students of Palatine High School.

In an effort to maximize the donation earned, the event is scheduled for a busy day at the school that includes prom ticket purchasing and the running of the annual Palatine Relays track meet. According to PHS Pirate Booster Club President, Alissa DePue, “The folks at Arlington Heights Ford and your PHS Pirate Boosters couldn’t have made fundraising any easier for our parents, teachers, students and community members. While enjoying the Palatine Relays, why not give ten minutes to help the school raise up to $6000 for programs?”
