Edelweiss Delicatessen celebrates Advent season with a mini Kris Kindle market & live German Christmas songs by Barb Kronau-Sorensen

Advent is a time of year when people prepare for the coming of the Christ child, or Santa Claus, or St. Nicholas, etc.....
Edelweiss Delicatessen is also preparing for the big day!

In the past, they have had a booth in the Barrington Kris Kindle market. This year, there is no Barrington Kris Kindle market. However, “the show must go on!” By applying that good old German ingenuity and creativity, Edelweiss is having their own mini version of a Kris Kindle market every Saturday in December and beginning Saturday November 28th.
The market is open from 10am - 2pm and will have hot Glogg, cider or chocolate available as well as the many delicious German holiday delicacies that make this season so incredibly scrumptious!

The market also will be featuring live German Christmas songs in a special free concert for the community by local Palatine singer/songwriter Barb Kronau-Sorensen. The concert goes from 12-pm - 2pm
