Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival (BWiFF) will host a Wine & Paint Night at Palatine Hills Clubhouse on Friday, February 21 from 7:00pm-9:00pm. The “Paint the Town Blue” event will celebrate and support the festival’s tenth anniversary event this July.

Since 2010, the festival has been held annually over the summer months throughout the Chicagoland area. After six years of screenings at Palatine Park District’s historic Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center in Palatine, the festival made its first move to Mount Prospect’s AMC Randhurst 12 in 2016 following a successful crowdfunding campaign. In 2020, the week-long event will be held at Chicago Filmmakers in the Edgewater neighborhood on Chicago’s North Side from July 17-23.

Having its roots in Palatine, BWiFF invites independent film lovers and recreational painters alike to come unwind with friends this Friday with instructor Brooke Dahmen. Guests will have a chance to win a private tour and tasting for 10 at Lynfred Winery. All paint supplies will be provided. Event is BYOB so attendees are encouraged to bring their choice of beverage.
