Free Seminar: Learn How to File a Property Tax Appeal

Palatine Township residents can learn about the property tax appeal process, how to file an appeal and a variety of tax exemptions.

Palatine Township residents can learn about the property tax appeal process and how to file an appeal, in addition to obtaining information about a variety of tax exemptions at an upcoming free seminar. All the required forms to file an appeal will be made available at this event.

Representatives from The Cook County Assessor’s Office, along with Palatine Township Assessor Terry Kelly, will present all the information needed to file a property tax appeal on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. The seminar will be held at Cutting Hall, 150 E. Wood Street in downtown Palatine.

“2019 is a reassessment year for Palatine Township residents,” said Palatine Township Assessor Kelly. “The new values placed on your property is what can be appealed.”
