Who: Humans with Smart-Phones and automobiles, shoppers, tourists… any unsuspecting human we can catch!
Where: In Palatine, Illinois
When: October 29th
- 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Hunt
- 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Concert
Here’s how it works:
The Players (humans) - sign up online or purchase tickets at local participating businesses. They receive a goody bag with items they will need in the hunt. They also need to use their own smartphones and have a vehicle to drive around in. They will go to each location and do the activity the business has set up for them in their stores. At each location they must get their “passport” book stamped if they survive the activity. The player with the most stamps wins.
The Monster Businesses - participate by hosting interactive activities that go in line with their businesses, in their stores. Each business gets a basket of items that contain a hint to the next location the players have to figure out and find. These items are handed out to the players after they have finished your activity. After the activity has been completed by the player, the business signs off on the player’s passport.
The Community Service - work is tied into this hunt by the items and services that are needed around the Town. Tasty Humans are easy to catch in a web with do-good project lures…..The organization providing the needs also helps monitor the service work to be sure it is done accurately and to time and sign off on the players passports once they have finished.
Monster Sponsors - participate by providing funds and materials needed for the hunt.
