Harper College Ensemble Theatre Company presents ‘Big Fish’

Performances of the musical, based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the film directed by Tim Burton, will take place November 10-12 and 17

The Harper College Ensemble Theatre Company will present Big Fish, November 10-12 and 17-19 at the Harper College Performing Arts Center.

The musical, based on Daniel Wallace’s novel and director Tim Burton’s film, tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest. Edward’s larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales.

Performances will take place at 8 p.m. November 10-11 and 2 p.m. November 12; 8 p.m. November 17-18 and 2 p.m. November 20 in Harper’s Performing Arts Center, Building R, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.

Big Fish tickets are $15 for Harper students (with ID); $20 for Harper employees, other students or seniors (with ID); and $25 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased through the Harper Box Office; buy tickets online or call 847.925.6100.
