How to Help Disadvantaged Schoolchildren in Palatine Township
The Apple Tree Campaign is in its 26th year. Donations are needed to help provide economically disadvantaged students with school supplies.

The Apple Tree Campaign, now in its 26th year, collects and distributes new backpacks and school supplies to economically disadvantaged children who live in Palatine Township.
The program is designed to provide students, who have been referred by local social workers, with school supplies needed so that they can start school prepared and ready to learn.

Monetary donations are also accepted and greatly appreciated. These donations allow us to purchase items that we are lacking. Please make checks payable to Palatine Township “Apple Tree Campaign” and mail them directly to Palatine Township, 721 S. Quentin Road, Suite 101, Palatine, IL 60067.
Donations may be dropped off during normal business hours at the following Palatine locations from July 7 through August 8, 2014:
The school supplies will be distributed August 9-14.
Volunteers are needed to deliver collection boxes and to assist with supply pick-up, sorting, packing, and distribution. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve with your family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors.
