On October 25, we were honored to host a group of 10 female business students from Palatine High School for an onsite learning day. They started a day with a welcome from Rob Morrison, CFP®, the firm’s president and Kim Drake, CFA, a wealth advisor who specializes in women.

The day’s agenda was presented by women who hold key positions within the firm: Janet Petran, CPA, CFP®, wealth advisor; Martha Conlon, MBA, communications manager; Maureen Doyle, CFP®, financial planner; Cheryl Ferguson, director of human resources and Paulina Iantchev, senior client service associate.

During the course of the day, these women in leadership engaged in several conversations with the students about the basics of investing and also candidly shared their own career paths and experiences with managing their work and family responsibilities.
