"Lessons of Leadership" with Local Author Paul Pryma at Palatine Library

Paul Pryma, presents his book, Coaches of Chicago: Inspiring Stories about Leadership and Life, at Palatine Library on January 28.

On Thursday, January 28, Paul Pryma, presents his book, Coaches of Chicago: Inspiring Stories about Leadership and Life, at Palatine Library from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Pryma, a Palatine resident and former principal of Glenbrook North High School shares lessons of leadership from three basketball coaches: the late Steve Pappas (Deerfield High School), Rick Malnati (Fenwick High School), and Gene Pingatore (St. Joseph High School in Westchester) and how these lessons can be carried to everyday life.

Pryma highlights the leadership attributes of these coaches: work ethic, observation, listening skills, resilience, and integrity—all of which he states may prove to be extremely valuable to other teams, businesses, classrooms, families, and daily life. Pryma earned his doctorate degree from National Louis University in Chicago.
