LSD, Pot Stash Worth More Than $3,000 Found in Palatine Teen's Bedroom: Cops
The drugs were discovered when police executed a search warrant at the 18-year-old's home Wednesday night.

PALATINE, IL — More than $3,000 worth of LSD, marijuana and drug accessories were discovered in the basement bedroom of a Palatine teen Thursday, according to the Daily Herald.
Noah Smith, 18, 0f the 0-100 block of South Glenwood Street, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He was held on $50,000 bail, and his next court date is Feb. 16. If convicted he faces a maximum of 30 years in prison.
The drug stash was discovered when the Illinois State Police North Central Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant Wednesday night at Smith's Palatine home, the Daily Herald reports. A search of Smith's basement bedroom uncovered 67 paper squares of LSD worth about $1,340 on the street, the report added.

Pot, pot edibles and butane hash oil also were found in the bedroom, the report stated. Those illegal drug items were valued at $2,160, the report added.
