Musical Theatre Workshops for Youth Ages 5-18

ArtReach Educational Theatre announces its One-Day Workshops for youth ages 5-18 interested in musical theater. The workshops will be held Friday, January 16th, 6:30 - 8:30 pm and Saturday, January 17th, from 11am - 4 pm.

The workshops will introduce all aspects of musical theatre .... vocal workshop (Friday workshop) and singing, acting and dancing (Saturday workshop). Participants may attend either session or both. Participants will be introduced to material from Seussical the Musical, which will be the spring production performed by ArtReach Educational Theatre at Cutting Hall in April, 2015. The workshops have a nominal fee ($15 Friday, $25 Saturday). This is an excellent opportunity for youth to investigate musical theater prior to committing to a full production. ArtReach workshops will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 3839 Frontage Road, in Palatine, Illinois.

If interested, workshop participants can continue with ArtReach by joining the Spring Workshop production of Seussical the Musical. Rehearsals for Seussical will begin February 7th, and will be held every Saturday from 11am - 4 pm. The cost to participate in Seussical the Musical is $475. ArtReach Educational Theatre is entering its 12th year and has year round programming for youth ages 5-18 in musical theatre.
