Palatine Chamber presents outdoor movie night

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will present the award winning sports movie “Remember the Titans” on the side of the BMO Harris Bank building located at 50 North Brockway in downtown Palatine starting at dusk on Sunday, August 16th.

Movie night will start at 6:00 PM with tailgate activities including baggo and ladder ball. Children’s art projects, games and a variety of family activities will also be available. The event is free to the public and seating is available on Station Street, just east of the bank building. The Chamber is encouraging residents to bring their families and their own lawn chairs.

“We are excited to once again offer a beer garden and pizzas from Lamplighter Inn during the event this year,” said Mindy Phillips, Director of the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce. “This is the 6th annual outdoor movie night presented by the Chamber and each year it continues to grow in popularity.”

A portion of the funds raised throughout the event will benefit the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce scholarship programs. Lead sponsor for Movie Night is BMO Harris Bank.
