Palatine Concert Band Opens 61st Season on Nov. 8th
The Palatine Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Frederick Lowe, opens its 61st concert season on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 3:30pm.
The program for the November 8 concert will include: Allegro Barbaro, Bartok/Wallace; The Engulfed Cathedral, Debussy/Longfield; Star Wars Suite, Williams/Hunsberger; Children’s March: Over the Hills and Far Away, Grainger/Rogers; Song for Band, Bolcom; and Salute to American Jazz, Nestico.
For the balance of the year, we’ll have three additional concerts throughout the indoor season leading up to next summer:
- Friday December 4, 2015, 7:30pm – Holiday Concert
- Sunday, March 13, 2016, 3:30pm – Winter Concert
- Sunday, May 1, 2016, 3:30pm – Spring Concert
Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, $8 for adults. Children 12 and under are free, and tickets are available online at http://www.cuttinghall.org or at the Cutting Hall Box Office.
