Palatine Memorial Day Parade: When And Where To Watch The Holiday Procession
The parade Monday will feature the national anthem and other patriotic music performed by the Palatine High School band.

PALATINE, IL — American Legion Post 690 will hold its annual Memorial Day parade and other holiday-related activities in Palatine beginning with service at 10 a.m. Monday at Hillside Cemetery, 375 N. Smith St. The parade will follow at 10:15 a.m.
The route for the parade will start at Cornell Avenue and Smith Street, continuing north on Smith and then east on Robertson Street. The procession will go south on Brockway Street before moving east on Wood Street and ending at the Veterans Memorial in Community Park. This year, the parade will feature representatives from the Palatine Police and Fire departments, as well as village leaders and a variety of community groups. The national anthem will be performed by the Palatine High School Marching Band, which also will peform other patriotic music.
After the parade finishes in the park, a short program will be held at the memorial at 11 a.m., and that event will be followed by a ceremony at 12:15 p.m. at American Legion Memorial in Towne Square, 150 W.
