Palatine Nonprofit Searches for New Home as Sale of Current Spot Looms
The Countryside Association for People with Disabilities wants to find a location nearby that has a safe atmosphere.

A Palatine nonprofit is still looking for a new home even though it’s close to selling the land where it’s currently located, according to a Daily Herald report.
The Countryside Association for People with Disabilities will still have a year to move out of its building after the sale is finalized, the report stated. Officials at the nonprofit say a final sale to an unnamed buyer could go happen within the next two weeks, the report added.

When it comes to a new location for Countryside, officials want to find a place nearby because many of its 200 clients are bused in, the report stated. They also want to create as little disruption in their clients’ lives, which means finding a new location that creates a safe atmosphere and allows them to maintain all the same services they offer now, the report added.
