Palatine Police Announce Results of Labor Day Enforcement
Palatine police issued 30 tickets for seatbelt violations and arrested 2 for driving under the influence.
The Palatine Police Department Department and other area law enforcement agencies conducted an IDOT-supported enforcement to remind motorists to buckle up and driver sober over the Labor Day holiday.
During the mobilization, Palatine police issued tickets/arrested:
- 2 DUI arrests
- 1 Illegal Transportation of Alcohol ticket
- 1 Alcohol Related Ordinance Violation arrest
- 30 Seatbelt Violation tickets
- 2 Possession of a Controlled Substance arrests
- 5 Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License arrests
- 7 Uninsured Motorist tickets
- 12 Speeding tickets
- 30 Other Registration/Moving/Equipment Violation tickets
