Palatine Residents Face Drug Charges for Selling Prescription Pills: Police

Palatine police conducted a search at the man and woman's apartment last week and took the two into custody.

Two Palatine residents face drug charges after Palatine police executed a search of their apartment last week and recovered 72 hydrocodone pills, police said.

Casey Damm, 32, is charged with three counts of felony unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and one count of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, according to a Palatine Police Department press release. Felicia Chovanec, 25, is charged with two counts felony unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and one count of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Palatine Police Department searched the duo’s apartment at 1270 N. Sterling Ave. #109 in Palatine on Thursday following an undercover investigation. Police said as part of the undercover investigation, officers purchased narcotic prescription medication from Damm and Chovanec.

During the search, police found 72 hydrocodone pills and three suboxone pills. Both Damm and Chovanec were arrested following the search.
