Palatine’s ‘Fresh Wave’ Joins as St. Patrick’s Parade Platinum Presenting Sponsor
The parade steps off at 11am on Saturday, March 14 at Oak and Wood streets and ends at Wood and Smith Street.

The St. Patrick’s Parade steps off at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14 from Wood and Oak streets, heads west and ends at Smith and Wood streets. It will include the American Legion Post 690 Color Guard, the Parade’s Royal Court and the Palatine Village Council – along with more than 30 other entries. Community participation is at the heart and soul of the parade. Area residents are encouraged to come out, cheer on the parade participants, and support local businesses that make downtown Palatine a vibrant destination to celebrate St. Patrick - before and after the parade.
The event’s Pot O’ Gold sponsors are all offering specials on this festive day that brings out the Irish in everyone. TJ O’Brien’s (53 W. Slade Street) will open at 9 a.m. for breakfast and feature loaded Bloody Mary’s, with a special Irish menu available following the parade. Tap House Grill (56 W. Wilson Street) also opens at 9 a.m. for its popular Kegs and Eggs and will feature live music from 11 a.m.- 10 p.m. in the outside tent. JL’s Pizza & Sports Bar (19 N. Bothwell Street) will open at 11 a.m. and offer $4 drink specials and festive green beer, and Durty Nellie’s (180 N. Smith Street) will feature live music, Irish Dancers, bagpipers and its Traditional Irish Breakfast from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
