Pedestrian Killed by Metra Train in Palatine Friday
The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. near Hicks Road.
A male pedestrian was fatally struck by a Metra train in Palatine Friday night near Hicks Road, about halfway between the Palatine and Arlington Park stations, around 9:30 p.m. Train service was shut down until about 11 p.m. on the Union Pacific Northwest Line.
